“If you are thinking about booking, DO IT. This was an amazing experience! I would recommend this tour to anyone. Spyros allowed us to his summer home to see his vast garden. We went into the village and had coffee, and even met one of his friends who hosted us in his home to learn about his family history and eat fresh melon from his garden. We also had a traditional lunch near the plateau. My boyfriend and I shared three dishes, the dakos, wine leaves (made with zucchini flower blooms), and the Moussaka. All of which were delicious, but I can’t get the dakos or the wine leaves out…”

Alex at Cretan Dragon Farm was entertaining and informative, offering us some dragonfruit herbal tea and olive marmalade to try alongside olive oil, the olives themselves, and a yoghurt bergamot dessert. The lady at the raki stop - a very small family-run operation - was passionate and friendly, letting us sample lots of wines and liqueurs as well as her raki. Then the visit to Titakis Winery gave insight into how a bigger wine producer operates and we tasted three wines with a couple of food…”
